Are you a qualified English Teacher or English Specialist looking for a long-term contract or a permanent role from January in Buckinghamshire?
Academics Ltd are working with a 'Good' school in High, Wycombe, Buckinghamshire who are looking to appoint an English Teacher to join them from January 2025. We are looking to appoint a fully qualified teacher (with QTS) or an English Specialist who is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management.
This is also a great opportunity for ECT's looking for their first teaching role.
The school are looking for a Teacher who -
- Is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management
- Can plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students of all abilities
- Is interested in the science of learning and is commi8tted to continuous improvement
- Can demonstrate excellent organisational and inter-personal skills and the ability to contribute to the team, has clear vision, energy and commitment to all aspects of school life
- Has a desire and passion to make a real difference to the lives and life-chances of our students
English Teacher requirements -
- Degree in English or related field
- Relevant teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS
- Experience with online teaching platforms
- Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and teaching techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
