Role: Geography Teacher
Salary: £31,350 - £47,839

Duties vary widely but can include:
- Design and implement geography lesson plans that align with educational standards and objectives
- Prepare engaging and informative lessons on physical, human, and environmental geography
- Utilise various teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, hands-on activities, and technology, to enhance student learning
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student participation and learning
- Implement strategies to manage student behaviour and maintain discipline in the classroom
- Ensure the classroom and activities are conducted safely
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their work and progress and maintain accurate records of student performance and grades
- Motivate and encourage students to develop an interest in geography and related fields
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices and geography-related knowledge
- Select and manage teaching materials and resources, including textbooks, maps, and digital tools
The Successful candidate will have:
- Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
- Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
- Prior experience of working within the education sector
- Good knowledge of the Religious Studies curricular
- Ability to commute to Holmer Green and the surrounding areas
