About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a supportive and thriving school in Flackwell Heath, Buckinghamshire, starting as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and will inspire students to reach their full potential in Maths.

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, promoting a positive learning environment, and encouraging students of all abilities to develop a love for Mathematics. The role involves teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to extend to Key Stage 5 depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Maths lessons that cater to a range of abilities
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and challenging learning environment
  • Encourage student engagement, creativity, and independent learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to continually improve teaching practices
  • Support and guide students to achieve academic success

What We Are Looking For:

  • A qualified Maths Teacher (QTS or equivalent), unqualified candidates with a passion for teaching are encouraged to apply
  • Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is a plus)
  • A passion for Maths and helping students achieve their full potential
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching
