We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher with a specialism in Lacrosse and Netball to join a prestigious independent Prep School for girls aged 7-13, based in High Wycombe. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and develop young athletes in a nurturing and supportive environment, fostering a love for sports and physical activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach high-quality PE lessons with a focus on Lacrosse for pupils aged 7-13.
  • Develop and implement a dynamic Lacrosse programme, including organising and coaching teams for local and regional competitions.
  • Promote fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among all pupils.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a well-rounded PE curriculum that includes a variety of sports and activities.
  • Organise extracurricular Lacrosse clubs and sessions to further enhance pupils' skills and engagement.
  • Provide pastoral care, supporting the physical and emotional well-being of pupils.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of pupil progress and development.
  • Participate in school events, parent evenings, and extracurricular activities as required.

Key Requirements:

  • A degree in Physical Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience and expertise in Lacrosse coaching, with a passion for encouraging participation and excellence in the sport.
  • Previous teaching experience within a Prep School or similar environment is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and motivational skills.
