Pay: MPS to UPS, depending on experience (£29,344 - £44,919)

The Role/Responsibilities:

• Teach dynamic and engaging Science lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Confidently deliver your area of expertise while adapting lessons to cater to varied learning styles.
• Create a stimulating classroom environment that nurtures curiosity and a love for scientific inquiry.
• Prepare students for their GCSE exams by enhancing their understanding and exam skills.
• Track and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic journey.
• Work collaboratively with fellow Science department members to develop innovative curriculum plans and share effective teaching strategies.

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong understanding of the Science curriculum, particularly in your specialisation.
• Excellent classroom management abilities, with the capacity to engage students with diverse needs.
• A collaborative mindset, eager to work as part of a team to enhance student learning experiences.
• A genuine enthusiasm for Science and the skill to inspire students to appreciate the subject.

Requirements:

• Right to work in the UK and a DBS check registered on the update service (or willing to apply for one).
• Possess QTS, PGCE, or a relevant teaching qualification in Science (unqualified teachers with suitable experience may also be considered).
• Previous experience in teaching Science at a UK secondary school, with a proven record of improving student outcomes.
