Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality and engaging Science essons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Inspire students to develop a love science, helping them achieve fluency and confidence.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective and well-structured lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure continuous development.
- Participate in the wider school community, contributing to extra-curricular activities and language-related events.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote the success of the Science department.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Science, or a related subject.
- Previous experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4 (A-Level experience is desirable but not essential).
- Passion for Science, with the ability to inspire and engage students.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and extracurricular involvement.
