Rocasa Consulting are looking for an experienced Housing Support Worker in the High Wycombe area. This role is based within a large homeless hostel with clients who are facing homelessness - they may also have complex needs such as substance misuse and mental health conditions.

You will be offering accommodation and support to local individuals. This can include supporting people with mental health, substance misuse and homelessness to help make them independent and reintegrate back into the community.

This role is working shift patterns 5 out of 7 days a week (weekends included) - shifts = Sunday to Thursday with shifts between 0800 - 2200 on a rotation - EARLY - 8AM-4PM, MIDDLE 11AM-7PM, LATE 2PM-10PM.

About the role:

- Supporting clients living in the accommodation with gaining back their independence.

- Working 1-1 with clients, creating support/recovery plans, goal setting and signposting to other agencies as and when necessary.

- Safeguarding

About you:

- Experience working with clients with challenging behaviour - mental health conditions, substance misuse, homelessness, offenders.

- Knowledge of housing and other benefits.

- Experience writing support / recovery plans.

- Punctual and reliable.
