Support Worker | High Wycombe| temporary | £12.83ph incl. holiday pay
Rocasa Consulting is seeking to recruit a Support Worker to join our client and help it to tackle homelessness in High Wycombe.
The service is dedicated to adults who are experiencing homelessness and issues with substance misuse, alcohol, mental health, ex-offenders who are struggling to reintegrate into the community.
Details:
Job type: temporary contract, 2-3 months, possibly extended
Pay rate: £12.83 per hour including holiday pay
Shift pattern: Early shift 07:15 - 15:15 and Late shift 13:30- 21:30; working every other weekend.
Key responsibilities:
- The role will be mostly covering housing (health and safety, void prep - clean + paperwork, booking in new customers, administrative tasks, risk assessments, ASB, reception cover, building checks, etc)
- You will ensure that the support service promotes empowerment and independence
- You will be part of a staff team that is committed to the best practice in the social housing field
- You will be proactive when working with clients to achieve their personalised support outcomes
Requirements:
- Experience working with vulnerable client groups
- Good customer service and people skills
- Excellent IT skills
