We are seeking an experienced Anti-Social Behavior (ASB) Manager with a strong background in change management to lead our team in addressing anti-social behavior concerns effectively. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in managing ASB issues within housing or community settings and have a track record of implementing strategic changes to improve services, increase efficiency, and foster positive community relations. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to driving impactful changes in ASB management.

Key Responsibilities
  • ASB Management: Lead and manage all ASB cases, working closely with tenants, local authorities, and community stakeholders to identify, assess, and resolve issues effectively. Ensure all cases are handled in compliance with relevant legislation, organizational policies, and best practices.

  • Change Management: Lead the development and implementation of change initiatives within the ASB team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability. Assess current ASB management practices, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance efficiency, responsiveness, and service delivery.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including housing officers, legal teams, law enforcement, and community groups, to ensure a coordinated response to ASB cases. Act as the primary point of contact for ASB issues and build strong relationships to support long-term community well-being.

  • Policy Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of ASB policies, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements. Recommend updates to policies and procedures in response to changing legal requirements or community needs.

  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to the ASB team, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment. Encourage professional growth and development to strengthen team capabilities in ASB and change management.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the collection and analysis of data related to ASB incidents and interventions. Prepare regular reports for senior management, identifying trends, challenges, and the effectiveness of implemented changes.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Social Work, Law, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications in ASB or change management are advantageous.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in ASB management or a similar role, with at least 2 years of experience leading change initiatives within a community, housing, or public sector organization.

  • Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of ASB legislation, policies, and best practices.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage change and improve team processes.
    • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Proficiency in report writing and data analysis.
