Copello are recruiting for a Software Engineer (C#) for a defence organisation on an initial 6 months basis. The role will be reporting into the Electronics & Software Engineering Lead and will supporting the creation , maintenance and release of high quality software activities across a legacy project within the business
As the Software Engineer you will be have the following responsibilites:
Design, debugging , testing, coding and maintenance of software
Software design within Windows 10/11
Development and implementation of HMI, applications, protocols
Designing and delivering code using C#
Development of software across the entire lifecycle
The sucessful Software Engineer will require the following experience:
Strong C# experience
Exposure to Visual Studio
Usage of source control tools inc SubVersion/Git
Stong understanding of full software development lifecycles
Use of JIRA
Ideally worked within a regulated sector such as Aerospace, Aviation, Military or Defence
Experience of desktop applications, GUI/event based design
This role is offering hybrid working and paying 60 - 70 per hour (inside IR35), the successful candidate will be eligible for SC clearance.
