Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate tutor to provide 2:1 support in Primary Literacy and Numeracy Functional Skills for two pupils based in West Wycombe. This is a rewarding opportunity for a skilled educator with a trauma-informed approach and experience supporting children with PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance).
Tutoring will take place on-site on Monday and Tuesday afternoons (3 hours per day), commencing 22nd April 2025, following the Easter holidays.
Key Responsibilities-
Deliver engaging and individualised 2:1 tutoring sessions in Primary Literacy and Numeracy Functional Skills

Create lesson plans tailored to the pupils' academic levels and emotional needs

Implement trauma-informed strategies to build trust and encourage learning

Support learners with PDA using flexible, pupil-led approaches

Track progress and provide feedback to Education Boutique and relevant stakeholders

Proven experience teaching or tutoring Primary Literacy and Numeracy Functional Skills

Expertise in trauma-informed teaching methods

Experience working with pupils with PDA profiles

Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
