Pricing & Commercial Manager | £45,000-£55,000 | Hybrid

This is a fast-paced and rapidly growing private-equity backed Consumer Solutions business. The company operate in the warehousing and distribution sector, and due to a successful 2024, are recruiting a newly created Pricing & Commercial Manager. This is an exciting opportunity based on the M5 corridor, South of Weston-Super-Mare, where you will play a critical role in managing pricing decisions, and owning the customer pricing and system / flexible pricing model to drive revenue growth, customer attraction and retention, and ultimately enhance profitability.

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies and changes to the model, consulting with the Finance Director and Ops Director.
  • Ensure the Dynamic Pricing Model is operating effectively, and providing best outcomes for the business.
  • Act as customer point of contact for pricing, quotations, queries and commercials.
  • Collaborate with sales and finance teams to optimize commercial outcomes and revenue generation.
  • Prepare and present innovative pricing proposals and price management to internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor revenue performance and working closely with finance and the credit function, assist in credit management and revenue / cashflow management
  • Own, develop and administer the pricing system and dynamic pricing model

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pricing Manager / Commercial Manager / Contracts Manager / Business Development Manager
  • Strong IT and Analytical skills with a focus on revenue, pricing and profitability.
  • Very strong general commercial acumen, and a sharp understanding of pricing
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

We are open to most sector backgrounds. Warehousing, Logistics, Transportation, Property would be ideal but if you have a strong commercial bias, with experience of managing the pricing / commercial aspects of a business. This is a great progressive and successful team to join!
