CAD Technician - Highbridge - Temporary to Permanent

Acorn by Synergie are recruiting a CAD Technician for our manufacturing client in Highbridge.

The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm.

The starting rate of pay will be £13.00 an hour.

The role will be 100% based in the office, working within a small design team.

The duties include:

  • Compile detailed Sales Scheme and Project Approval level drawings required by the Sales and Projects teams within set timeframes. Ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Liaise with Sales and Project Managers to provide the required information to assist in the advancement of projects through to approval including design recommendations and solutions to any problems that may arise due to architectural/client requirements.
  • Ensure that the drawings within your control adhere to the relevant design standards.
  • Interpret architects' drawings to aid with design for manufacture.
  • Produce 2D and 3D manufacturing drawings for the factory to use as an assembly guide.
  • It is essential to have working experience of AutoDesk's AutoCAD, and AutoDesk's Inventor.
