Summary
Appoint Healthcare are proud to partner with an extremely reputable leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs. Together we are looking for an experienced deputy ward manager Registered Mental Health Nurse ( RMN )  looking for a step up into a ward manager role or an experienced ward manager looking for a new challenge.
The service that you will be working in is a purpose-built 14 bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Preston, Lancashire. This service provides accommodation for men who experience a complex range of mental health issues and require long term support and treatment within a controlled environment.

Requirements

  • A relevant nursing qualification ( RMN ) 
  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions or referrals
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Strong experience in managing a team, monitoring the ward and monitoring staff performance.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a nurse, in the UK
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
