Quantity Surveyor needed to join the team on a 70m + super-prime residential project in South Oxfordshire.

The Project:
The project itself comprises a new family home set over an 80-acre rural setting. The property includes a subterranean leisure facility, outdoor pool, annexe, woodland cabin, garden pavilion and extensive external landscaping. The contractor has circa 6 months of internal fit-out remaining.

Brief summary of the role entails:
There is an immediate need for an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to help with a big push on change control, and package management to get the project over the line. Once complete the next project (refurb & fit-out) will be in Central London (as is most of their work).

The Duties:
Joining an existing team, the core duties (amongst other duties) will be managing & controlling variations, issuing all relevant notices as deemed necessary to both subcontractors and client and assisting with final account settlements. The role is to measure the changes across multiple phases running simultaneously projects on one scheme; price them accordingly and issue orders. Would suit someone who has refurb experience, and who can survey (not just count numbers).

The Company:
This role represents a fine opportunity to join a 100m+ turnover principal contractor who deliver a wide variety of schemes including new build, heavy and structural refurbishment, and fit out. The majority of their projects are within the commercial, retails and leisure, heritage and listed buildings, and prime residential.

This position could also be referred to as a Quantity Surveyor, Project Surveyor, Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, Project Quantity Surveyor, QS, Intermediate QS, Senior QS, Senior Quantity Surveyor and Project QS.
