Our client, a leader in nature-based solutions to combat climate change, is seeking a Woodland Planner to join their team in South Scotland. This is a key role where you will collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, and government agencies to drive woodland creation projects from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Navigate the woodland grant system in Scotland.
  • Oversee projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Manage relationships with clients such as estates, forestry investors, local authorities, and more.

About You: Our client is looking for an experienced forestry professional with:

  • A degree or diploma in Forestry (or related field).
  • At least 3 years of managerial or relevant operational experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in GIS and other software tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A full driving license and the ability to meet deadlines.
