Plumbing and Heating Manager
Basic Salary 45k+ (negotiable depending on experience) + Company Vehicle + Private Healthcare + Pension + Benefits
Location - Swindon / Oxfordshire
Alecto Recruitment Ltd currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Plumbing and Heating Manager to join a well-established Plumbing and Heating organisation based in the Swindon / Oxfordshire area and on a permanent and fully employed basis.
Our client provide a complete range of domestic and commercial plumbing and heating services including gas/boiler work, heat pump and renewable work, oil and so on.
Ideally you'll live local to areas such as Swindon / Faringdon / Cirencester etc.
Job Summary:
- Acting as a Head of Department / Service Manager.
- You'll be responsible for managing and leading a team of gas / heating engineers.
- Responsible for managing all Gas Safe, OFTEC and Heat Pump/Renewable works.
- Schedule and coordinate engineers and diary workloads.
- Carry out surveys and estimating of works.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities for staff.
- Take the lead on promoting and developing the Plumbing and Heating Division.
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies and equipment.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- You must have previous experience as a Gas Engineer, Heating Engineer or OFTEC Engineer.
- Be able to demonstrate leadership and previous management experience, ideally with similar experience as a Service Manager or Head of Department within the Plumbing and Heating industry.
- Good IT and Computer skills.
