Assistant Accountant | Hinckley | Permanent | Up to £32,000 per annum
Macildowie is working with a well-established business based in Hinckley to recruit an Assistant Accountant into their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and detail-oriented professional to join a fast-paced environment where accuracy and time management are key.
In this role, you will:
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts,
- Bank reconciliations,
- Accruals and prepayments,
- Assist with VAT returns and audits,
- Intercompany postings,
- Fixed asset management.
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or part-qualified, with strong Excel skills, ERP system knowledge, and experience working in multi-currency accounts.
You will be working alongside experienced accountants, from whom you can learn and enhance your existing skills.This position is fully office based.
