• Battery Test Technician role working at the forefront of electric vehicle battery systems development for the automotive, motorsport, and defence sectors.
• Contract is offered on a PAYE basis, up to £22.00 per hour commensurate with experience for an initial 6 months.

This Battery Test Technician job will suit:

• We are looking for a Test Technician / Electrical Test Technician / Automotive Technician / Electrical Technician with testing experience who wants to develop their career within the electric vehicle battery technology / batteries / electric vehicle battery systems sector.
• You will have previous experience as a Test Technician or Automotive Technician in a similar role carrying out testing of electrical or electronic systems, equipment, or components.
• Some prior experience of testing batteries / battery systems would be fantastic, but this is not essential.
• You will hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in an engineering or similar technical discipline.
• You must hold a full UK driving licence.

This Battery Test Technician job will involve:

• Working at the cutting edge of electric vehicle development through the testing and development of battery systems.
• Battery system test projects are for a variety if industry leading customers across the automotive, motorsport and defence vehicle industry sectors.
• Set up and perform battery tests (abuse, durability, charge cycles etc) including setting up data acquisition equipment, Instrumentation and high-speed camera systems.
• Collect test data and test results for further analysis by engineering colleagues.

This Battery Test Technician role is commutable from Nuneaton, Hinckley, Atherstone, Tamworth, Twycross, Lutterworth, Coventry, Leicester, Leicestershire, Warwickshire.
