Maintenance Manager

A vacancy has arisen at a trusted client of ours for the position of Maintenance Manager.

The main requirement for this position is to ensure effective maintenance of the plant, premises, and ancillary equipment always, to enable cost effective satisfying of all customer requirements. The successful applicant must possess the following essential and desirable skills:

Essential:

  • Must have proven supervisory experience.
  • Must be willing to go "Hands-On" with the maintenance team on breakdowns.
  • Must have knowledge of PLC Systems and Robotics
  • Must have 5 years minimum experience in a fast-paced automotive or manufacturing environment.
  • Good understanding for 'maintenance best practice' techniques.
  • Good communication, organizational and leadership skills.
  • Good working knowledge of commonly used computer software.
  • Flexibility and be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and workload.
  • To lead by example, guide and motivate and support the team in a positive manner.
  • Good prioritization is imperative and the ability to adapt to changing priorities is key.
  • Ability to drive a zero-failure culture.
  • Experience in the use of a computerized maintenance management system.

The hours of work will be 40 hours a week, 0800-1700 Monday to Friday.

Salary will be negotiable based on experience and ability.
