Metalis are supporting a global aerospace business in the search for a Commercial Manager to support senior management in the development of all related commercial activities including trade shows, business development & estimating.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for all commercial activities.
• Ensure compliance of contracts and procedures is being upheld.
• Develop Bid Packs managing the whole process from proposal through to delivery.
• Working in tandem with BDM, Estimators & Quality engineers giving a fully joined up service.
• Negotiate with customers to increase profitability getting the best possible price for both parties.
• Use of continuous improvement techniques to reduce net spend.
• Develop long term plans for the business, presenting ideas to senior managers.
• Using EPICOR and Excel to develop pricing submissions.

Experience Required:

• A clear communicator, able to negotiate confidently.
• A proven track record in bid management & winning business ideally with large organisations and global markets.
• Able to pick up new computer systems with ease with experience of Excel, EPICOR, knowledge of SAP or Salesforce.
• Tenacity, resilience, and the drive to succeed.
• Able to build relationships and rapport with internal and external stakeholders quickly.
• Display a creative mindset bringing new ways of working to the team.
• Previous experience working in aerospace is preferred.

Shifts & Salary:

Up to £50,000 D.O.E

Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:30

Friday 07:30 - 12:30
