About the Role:As an Internal Salesperson, you'll be a key part of the team, driving growth and providing outstanding service to our customers. You'll be:
- Connecting with Clients: Taking incoming enquiries, providing basic technical assistance, and sending out quotations.
- Building Relationships: Maximising, Developing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, including builders' merchants and contractors.
- Converting Leads: Proactively making outbound calls to customers and following up on enquiries to convert them into orders.
- Hitting Your Targets: Achieving personal and department sales targets with a strong focus on driving results.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience in Internal sales, ideally within the Construction Industry (desirable)
- Experience dealing with builders merchants and contractors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Strong IT skills and computer proficiency.
- A commitment to our company values and a positive, collaborative attitude.
- Experience in account management and back-to-back sales.
What We Offer:
- Office opening hours 8.15 - 4.30, standard working day is 7.5 hours
- Dress code smart/casual, dress down Friday.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. 4 or 5 days kept for Christmas shutdown.
