- Must have experience of delivering Functional Skills, Employability and Vocational Training.
- Must hold a recognised Teaching qualification (PTLLS/AET or equivalent).
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Hold own Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths or GCSE equivalents.
- Must be IT Literate.
- Must be flexible with travel.
- Delivering a range of accredited vocational qualifications; Functional Skills; Employability and Essential Digital Skills to learners aged 19+.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Train, assess, motivate and support learners to develop personal and social skills to better prepare them for the working world and develop life skills.
- Undertake initial assessments for each learner and devise individual action plans to include SMART targets.
- Monitor student progress and engagement through regular assessment and reviews.
- Ongoing development of schemes of work and lesson plans, implementing differentiation in teaching and learning.
- Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
