  • Newly created Business Development Manager - be at the forefront of a growth strategy for a unique corporate events offering.
  • You will have the opportunity to leverage start of the art facilities within the engineering and technology space for conferences, exhibitions, product launches, bespoke networking and hospitality events!
  • £40K - £45K salary guide + company car + excellent pension + 27 days holiday & all bank holidays + healthcare package & more!


Role would suit an Events Business Development Manager / Events Sales Manager / Events Sales Executive / Events Business Development Executive with a proven track record of identifying and securing business for an events organisation / corporate events venue.


Events Business Development Manager responsibilities:


  • Identify new opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and expand the customer base aligning within the organisations corporate events offering to grow sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision makers.
  • Understand industry and client needs to sell a diverse range of event solutions.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, industry events to generate leads.
  • Collaborate with Event Management Leads to cultivate and convert business opportunities.


Events Business Development Manager role background:


  • We are looking for a passionate and results driven Business Development Manager that wants to take the growth of an events business offering to the next level.
  • Proven experience in sales or business development within the events industry, ideally business-to-business / B2B.
  • A natural relationship builder with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Confident communicating with and presenting to all levels of a business.
  • Self-motivated, highly organised, commercially savvy, with a strategic mindset.
