Looking to implement your knowledge and experience gained within the Accounts Payable function? Our award-winning, well-established client are seeking an outgoing, driven professional to join their Accounts Payable team. This opportunity is with an outstanding retail company based near Hinckley and the successful candidate will be immediately available and will have previous experience in a similar role.

The role will require you to have thorough knowledge of the Accounts Payable function and be able to maintain and manage supplier relationships (including key stakeholders), contribute to month-end activities (including producing reports), handle queries (especially for any complex accounts), reconciliations, payment runs, contribute to the improvement of processes and support colleagues where needed. Previous experience supervising a team would be highly beneficial but is not essential if you have a strong Accounts Payable background.

What you'll need:

  • Experience required to ensure seamless adjustment to the range of responsibilities the role involves
  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed for successful team leadership and collaboration, whilst also communicating with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong time management and organisational skills are crucial in order to manage a range of tasks whilst meeting deadlines in a timely and accurate manner
  • Proficiency with IT and Accounting systems, including Microsoft Excel
