We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to oversee our client's financial operations and provide strategic guidance to their finance team. The Finance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial reporting, managing day-to-day financial activities, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation.

Description of the role:

Prepare monthly management accounts, including supporting reconciliations.
Review control accounts reconciliations on a rolling basis to facilitate year-end accounting, including profit and loss analysis.
Oversee bank reconciliations.
Monitor and authorise the completion and production of sales and purchase ledger transactions.
Assist in preparing year-end accounts and provide support during annual audits to ensure timely and effective completion.
Authorise bank payments and overheads.
Manage day-to-day cash flow.
Lead the annual budgeting process.
Submit monthly/quarterly returns to HMRC.
Provide regular reports and updates to the management team.
Conduct monthly 1-2-1 meetings and annual Performance Development Reviews with the team to support their development and identify areas for improvement.
Identify and report any identified risks to Senior Management in a timely manner.
Negotiate company insurance.

About you:

AAT/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent.
Knowledge of Access Dimensions software would be advantageous.
Experience in managing an accounts team or department.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
Familiarity with payroll processes.
Experienced in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual accounting procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
