An opportunity has now arisen for a  Finance Manager  to join our client’s successful team in Hinckley.

About the client:

About the role:

You will provide financial expertise and commercial advice to the Director and Head of Departments whilst building up the foundations of the accounting procedures. The successful candidate will have previous experience in dealing with SME Accounts, as well as providing financial guidance in terms in a fast-growing business. You will be responsible for the Company’s daily financial accounting and support the implementation of a rigorous KPI structure to provide a timely reporting for all aspects of the business.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly accounts (P&L and balance sheet) for three companies
  • SASS, VAT returns and invoicing for property rental
  • Oversee all tax and regulatory compliance issues
  • Prepare and submit information to statutory authorities including HMRC
  • Liaise with external advisors on the preparation of statutory financial information and insurances
  • Prepare and Submit Payroll
  • Develop the forecasting models (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow)
  • Annual Budgeting/ Forecasting

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in a similar role
  • ACCA, CIMA qualified 2+ years or qualified by experience
  • Superb spoken and written communication skills
  • A professional manner
  • Previous Ecommerce experience
  • Excellent computer literacy

Technical skills and behavioural competencies:

  • Confidence, tact and a persuasive manner
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Good 'people skills' for working with a range of employees and customers
  • The ability to lead and motivate a team and be proactive.
