We are recruiting on behalf of a successful SME in South Leicestershire for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team, replacing the current manager who is retiring. This is a hands-on role, managing the day-to-day financial operations, producing monthly management accounts, and overseeing a small transactional finance team. You will work closely with the Finance Director and senior leadership team on key projects to support the company's growth.

About the Role:

As Finance Manager, you will manage a small, dedicated finance team responsible for purchase and sales ledger, credit control, and payroll. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Management Accounts: Prepare monthly management accounts, providing insights for the leadership team.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting: Manage the company’s cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  • VAT Returns: Oversee and ensure timely and accurate VAT returns.
  • Financial Reporting: Support the Finance Director with financial reporting to drive commercial decision-making.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop the transactional finance team.
About You:

We are seeking a candidate who is either CIMA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience, with a passion for hands-on finance management. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Experience in a regulated industry would be an advantage, though not essential.
