Our client based in Hinckley is looking for someone to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team as an Internal Salesperson, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future growth of our department. This exciting opportunity involves handling incoming inquiries, creating quotations, and actively following up to convert them into orders.

With strong communication skills, you'll foster lasting relationships with customers, including Builders Merchants and Contractors, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities as an Internal Salesperson:

  • Drive sales success by meeting and exceeding personal and departmental targets.
  • Provide basic technical advice and recommendations to customers when needed.
  • Assist in implementing strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Deliver accurate three-monthly sales forecasts.
  • Maintain and update the customer relationship management system to track progress and opportunities.
  • Develop and nurture new and existing targeted accounts.
  • Handle inbound and outbound sales calls with existing and potential customers.
  • Prepare and deliver quotations promptly and professionally.

Requirements as an Internal Salesperson:

  • Proven experience in the construction industry (preferred but not essential).
  • A background in customer relations with a passion for excellent service.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with individuals at all levels.
  • Proficiency in IT and CRM systems.
  • A track record in account management and sales.
  • A proactive attitude that aligns with our company's values and business plan.
