Sales Controller

Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire

Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week, 5 days:

  • Mon-Fri: 10am-7pm
  • Sat: 10am-6pm
  • Sun: 10am-4pm

Salary: 30,000 basic, uncapped commission, OTE up to 60,000

Igloo is recruiting an experienced Sales Controller on behalf of a prominent car retailer in Hinckley. In this role, you will lead and support the sales team, ensure site performance meets company standards, and help drive overall success in a high-volume used car environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily performance of the site.
  • Lead, motivate, and monitor the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Assist the sales team in closing deals and increasing sales of value-added products.
  • Audit sales processes and financial documents to ensure full compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales performance and efficiency.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong experience in used car retail and sales management.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Organised, with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Passionate about delivering results and maintaining high standards.
  • Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
  • FCA accredited or willing to undertake training.
  • Previous experience in car supermarket or volume used car management is preferred.

  • Basic salary of 30,000.

Commutable from: Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Nuneaton, Rugby, Solihull, and Tamworth.
