Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Slinger Signaller to join our team on a major tunnelling and civils project in Hinckley. This is a 3-month contract offered under the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) with a competitive daily rate of 190 - 200, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely directing and guiding crane operators during lifting operations.
- Ensuring all lifts are executed efficiently and within safety regulations.
- Conducting pre-use checks on lifting equipment.
- Communicating effectively with the site team to coordinate lifting activities.
- Adhering to all site safety protocols and contributing to a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Slinger Signaller card.
- CSCS Card
- Proven experience in a similar role within the tunnelling or civils sector.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to lifting operations.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
- Flexibility to work on a CIS contract basis.
