Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Supervisor with a valid SMSTS certificate and Telehandler ticket to oversee a civils gang on our construction site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising daily operations, operating a telehandler, and assisting with site records and Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS).
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and lead the civils gang, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the required standards.
- Operate the telehandler safely and effectively for material handling and site logistics.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of site records, including daily reports and timesheets.
- Collaborate with site management to develop and implement RAMS, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to site safety guidelines.
- Provide training and guidance to team members as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including management, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Valid SMSTS certification.
- Valid Telehandler ticket.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction or civils sector.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and site management best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- This role requires a proactive and hands-on approach to site supervision.
- Candidates must be able to work flexible hours as required by the project.
