Teaching Assistant Required
Year 3 - LSA and SEN Support
Monday - Friday (8.30am - 3.30pm)
We are currently looking for a calm, organised and hard-working individual who is ambitious and committed to their role as a teaching assistant to support a lovely year 3 class. This is an ideal role for those passionate about supporting young people to reach their potential and make excellent academic progress and is also a good opportunity for anyone considering entering the teaching profession long term.
Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for supporting the teachers and the senior leadership team by providing support within the classroom and in the playground
Supporting pupils with special educational needs and low level learners
Supporting pupils to follow high behavioural expectations
Working 1:1 with some pupils with additional needs, and lead on running interventions in and beyond the classroom.
Understanding the responsibility of safeguarding pupils and reporting any concerns to the safeguarding lead

To be successful for the role you will have:
Previous experience working in a classroom based setting
Be familiar with the primary curriculum
Have an Enhanced DBS disclosure on the update service or be willing to complete a new application
Have strong and clear communication skills
Be able to provide at least two professional referees
