Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Slinger/Lift Supervisor to join our team in Hinckley for a tunnelling and civils project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lifting operations and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate lifting operations on site.
- Ensure all lifting activities are carried out safely and in compliance with regulations.
- Conduct pre-lift assessments and toolbox talks.
- Supervise and direct the work of slingers and crane operators.
- Maintain accurate records of lifting operations.
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS Slinger/Signaller and Lift Supervisor certification.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the tunnelling or civils sector.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
