We are looking for a multi skilled maintenance engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias to join our family run business based in Hinckley. We are a well-established business in the local area manufacturing high end consumer products.

We have made £3m worth of investments in brand new machinery including a brand new revamp to our workshop area. We are a small team of 3 engineers, with lots of long standing employees amongst the maintenance team.

Day to day responsibilities would be reactive and planned maintenance on CNC Drilling machines, Automated Bandsaws, Presses, Shrink Wrappers, and Conveyors. Our process is a mix of manual and automated processes running mainly on Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley control systems.

The Successful Engineer
 

  • Multi Skilled is essential for this role, must be roughly 60:40/70:30 Mechanical or Electrical bias
  • CNC experience would be beneficial but not deal breaking
  • Ability to fault find and read both electrical and mechanical schematics is essential
  • Level 3 qualification in maintenance as a minimum (NVQ, City and Guilds, HNC/D)
