Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
Role overview:
Understand the client requirements for control panels, advise on design, prepare quotations, and deliver jobs within the specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Understand client requirements and develop project scope for handover to the Design Team.
- Assist in preparation of quotes.
- Assist the Manufacturing Manager in the preparation of proposals to prospected clients.
- Validate project scope, BOM, and technicalities of jobs.
- Task Operations for theProcurement of parts to BOM.
- Coordinate schedules and collaborate with Panel Builders.
- Technically support the Lead Panel Builders and coordinate completion ofDrawings updates.
- Collaborate with colleagues on Continuous Improvement.
- Adopt safe systems of work (RAMS).
- Observe the requirements ofPermit to Work issued by site Duty Holders.
- Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Services - Panel Wiring / Panel Builder orMechanical Manufacture Engineering (fitting and assembly)or equivalentApproved Apprenticeship in Panel Wiring /Panel Building.
- Degree/HND inElectrical biased Engineering discipline.
- Experience indesign and assemblyof industrial control panels with experience of PLC systems (5+ years required).
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and an understanding ofthe functionality ofelectrical switchgear.
