Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support to service users aged 17 to 26 in a hostel setting.
  • Assist with daily living activities and promote independence among service users.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents during your shift.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to deliver effective support services.
  • Engage with service users to build trusting relationships and encourage participation in activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a support or care role, preferably within a hostel or similar environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Understanding of the needs and challenges faced by young adults in a hostel setting.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health and safety regulations.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Empathy, patience, and a commitment to promoting the welfare of service users.
