Your new school is based in a picturesque village on the outskirts of Rugby but easily commutable from Nuneaton, Coventry and South Leicestershire. Unfortunately, due to the location of this school, access to a car would be beneficial.

The school are looking for a Year 5/6 teacher to support 5 days a week PPA is scheduled on a Tuesday afternoon. This is covering long-term sickness and because of this the school is unsure of the duration. The upper KS2 class is a mixed class. However, the year group will be split during English and Maths lessons.

Two supply teachers are covering the role at the moment. The school would prefer 1 teacher to be able to cover the class on a full-time basis, PPA will be given, you'll have access to previous years' plans, all resources will need to be printed and, as you will be covering the class, you will be asked to step in for parents' evenings.What you'll need to succeed

  • You must have a good knowledge of the primary school KS2 National Curriculum.
  • You should be able to adapt to different teaching methods and environments and be confident in doing so.
  • You must have experience teaching within the last 5 years in the teaching industry and hold a QTS, PGCE or ECT.
