Job Role: Quality Inspector

Location: LE10, Hinckley

Pay Rate: 39,000 per annum

Type: Full-time, permanent

Shift: Rotation: Days and Lates, Monday to Thursday.

The company:

A leading supplier to the aero engine, marine and satellite industries, manufactures ring machined components. Works closely in partnership with customers, providing complete end-to-end solutions from formulating designs and sourcing materials through to manufacture, assembly and testing.

The candidate:

The ideal candidate for the Quality Inspector role will:

possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed,
possess an in-depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards,
be able to work as part of a team as well as independently,
be able to inspect in-process and finished product to ensure compliance to drawing specifications and customer requirements,
provide aid to the manufacturing to ensure quality product is being produced,
possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Have minimum of 5 years' experience in an aerospace quality engineering environment,
be experienced with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word).
be experienced with Root Cause / Corrective and preventative action FAIR AS9102, Control Plans, FMEA, product verification and Visual Inspection

Job responsibilities:

You will be an experienced Quality Inspector. You will be able to:

read and interpret customer drawings,
use standard metrology techniques: Hand gauges / 1st Principal techniques,
have CMM experience (PCDmis preferred) Operate (program),
apply GD&T inspection methods,
inspect tight tolerance parts, both assembled & machined,
record and communicate information effectively.
communicate clearly and effectively,
manage and control calibration equipment,
perform any other general quality duties asked.
