  • Clear route to team leader.
  • Develop PLC and HMI code.
  • Programming of PLC's using Allen Bradley (Studio 5000) and Siemens (TIA Portal) platforms.
  • Analyse electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Adopt safe systems of work (RAMS).
  • Deliver effective modifications to existing systems.
  • Liaising with customers.
  • Occasional site visits.
  • Hybrid role.

The Person

  • 5+ years' experience in software authoring and development in similar sectors.
  • Proficiency with P&IDs and instrumentation/control equipment.
  • Knowledge of the implementation of IEC 61131 with understanding of "S88 Batch" and "State Machine" methodology.
  • Certifications in PLC programming, HMI development, Scada development.
  • BTEC, HNC, or Diploma in Software Engineering (desired).
  • Be proactive and innovative.
  • Clean Driving License.
