About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Learning Support Assistant to join a fantastic school in Hinckley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping students achieve their full potential and supporting them in a positive, inclusive learning environment.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with both teachers and students to provide additional support to those who may need extra help in the classroom. Your role will involve assisting with learning activities, helping students who require extra attention, and ensuring a positive, well-structured classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with varying learning needs.
Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.
Support students with specific needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
Assist teachers with lesson delivery and student assessments.
Work closely with the SENCO and other staff to develop and implement support strategies.
Encourage students' personal and academic development through positive reinforcement.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational or support role.
A genuine passion for working with students and helping them succeed.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students and create an inclusive learning environment.
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting students' development.
A willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to the school community.
