Application Support Engineer, Software Support Engineer, ERP, SQL Server, T-SQL, Software Implementation, Solution Architecture, Enterprise Software, Databases, 1st -3rd line, Service Desk, External Client Support - 32K

Our client is a profitable and rapidly expanding Software House. They are looking for a Software Support Engineer / Application Support Engineer to join their busy Software Support team. Full training in the client's software will be provided as well as formal SQL qualifications & certifications. Hours are 9-5, Monday - Friday (no shift work - whoop whoop!) The office is based in the Leicestershire area.

The skills needed for this role are:

  • Previous experience of working in an Application Software Support / Customer Support role
  • Experience in call logging and dealing with 1st-3rd Line Software Support issues
  • Experience in working within a similar environment such as Enterprise, CRM, or Financial software.
  • Good SQL Server, T-SQL, the ability to write scripts and interrogate databases
  • Software implementation - remote and onsite
  • Some understanding of how programming works
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Salary: competitive starting salary 32K and benefits.

You must be able to pass a pre-employment screening due to the nature of my client's customers.
