Role Overview

The Tax Advisor will:

  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, offering telephone advice on various taxation issues.
  • Provide expert advice on complex tax matters, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Collaborate with the consultancy, advice line, and business development teams to deliver seamless and consistent client support.
  • Undertake consultancy projects tailored to client needs.
  • Write and publish topical articles on tax-related issues for the company's website and social media platforms.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have tax advisory experience within a professional firm or similar environment.
  • Be qualified - ATT or CTA ideally. ACA / ACCA also considered.
  • Possess strong technical expertise in areas such as income tax, self-assessment, corporation tax, SDLT, and other tax matters.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of advising clients on complex issues with a client-focused, pragmatic approach.
  • Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and tactfully.
  • Show strong commercial awareness, problem-solving skills, and the ability to think on their feet.
  • Display integrity, professionalism, and a self-motivated attitude.
