Are you a Vehicle Technician / Automotive Technician / Engineering Technician interested in working within an automotive / vehicle engineering environment? Would you like to develop your career within the cutting-edge arena of automotive research and development working in world class automotive test facilities?


Your background as an Automotive Technician:


  • A Technician or Engineer with previous experience of working within an automotive or motorsport or vehicle engineering environment. This could be in an engineering business or an automotive dealership / service and repair environment.
  • You will need to hold a relevant Level 3 qualification or above in an automotive / vehicle engineering or mechanical engineering, or similar engineering discipline.
  • You must have a UK driving licence.
  • A good standard of IT skills is required to competently use IT and software systems.
  • Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers.


Your role as an Automotive Technician will involve:


  • To prepare and carry out tests on a diverse range of vehicles within several world class aerodynamic and climatic test facilities including full-scale wind tunnels!
  • Prepare test equipment prior to testing.
  • Preparation and modification of vehicles in readiness of tests.
  • Maintenance, operation, and development of the test facilities.


This position is commutable from Coventry, Leicester, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Rugby, Coalville, Swadlincote, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Tamworth, Bedworth, Lutterworth, Enderby, Lichfield, and surrounding areas.
