Our private client are recruiting a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their SEND School in Surrey on a permanent basis.

The School is a specialised setting for children from Year 3 to Post 16 with mild to moderate learning difficulties and additional needs, including ASD, cerebral palsy, hemiplegia, and medical vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding Occupational Therapy (OT) provision in line with students' EHCPs to meet individual needs.
  • Manage the Occupational Therapy Team, ensuring effective communication, consistency, and compliance.
  • Provide operational oversight and report on OT delivery to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Lead the development and integration of the 3-tiered Occupational Therapy Offer (Universal, Targeted, Specialist) at the school.
  • Ensure OT interventions are child-centred, evidence-based, and focused on functional therapy, access to education, independence, and employability.

Requirements:

  • Must have a Dip COT, BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy with a HCPC registration.
  • Post graduate clinical/management qualification or equivalent level of experience and proven ability to perform at this level.
  • Experience of working with SEND.
  • Sensory Integrated trained (preferably)
