Our client in Worcester is looking for a Project Engineer to support the Project Managers in the execution and delivery of engineering projects. You will carry out specifications for different components, review documentation and take projects from the conceptual stage to delivery.

The Role:

You will be responsible for supporting the project team in the execution and delivery of specialist engineering projects. Responsibilities include but are not limited too:

  • Ensure the timely, safe and cost-effective design for manufacturing to meet customer specification
  • Support the project manager in resource planning and ensuring adherence to achieve delivery on time
  • Review documentation including specifications and technical drawings
  • Adhere to the quality, H&S and environmental management systems
  • Bill of materials creation and management
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers to achieve technical compliance
  • Liaise with design, workshop, and sales departments during project implementation
  • Any reasonable task requested by senior management

The Candidate:

  • A background in mechanical design engineering
  • Qualified to HNC/HND level
  • Knowledge of rotating machinery, hydraulics or high-pressure equipment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with suppliers and customers.
  • Experience with heavy engineering project delivery
  • Full driving licence
  • A working knowledge of SolidEdge or similar 3D design software
  • Full UK driving licence
