Physical Education Teacher – Hitcham
Supply Desk are currently seeking a passionate School Teacher for PE in a new role located in the area of Hitcham. We are looking for someone who can create an environment where all the children feel safe and are encouraged and have the opportunity to learn and grow.
Role: PE Teacher

About the role:
- Develop and implement comprehensive physical education lesson plans that promote physical activity, skill development, and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Instruct students in various sports, games, and activities, adapting lessons to accommodate different skill levels and interests.
- Assess and monitor student progress in physical skills and fitness levels.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect for others.
- Demonstrate and promote proper techniques and safety practices during physical activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other subject areas and school initiatives.
- Organise and supervise extracurricular sports and fitness programs (e.g., intramural sports, fitness clubs).
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and participation in physical education
The ideal candidate will:
- Have recent experience in teaching primary schools
- Strong knowledge of the Physical Education curriculum
- Degree and QTS Desirable (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
- Be a committed team player
- Be confident and adaptable to different environments
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Able to commute to Hitcham and the surrounding areas
