Day to Day of the role:
  • Oversee all aspects of club management to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Drive membership growth through innovative marketing strategies and community engagement.
  • Maintain a high standard of service and address member feedback promptly.
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting and expense control.
  • Uphold health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for members and staff.
  • Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to align club operations with company goals.
  • Analyse performance metrics and develop action plans to achieve targets and objectives.
  • Ensure the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive business success and operational excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a General Manager role or senior leadership within the fitness, hospitality or service industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a history of motivating and developing staff.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Passion for health and wellness and a commitment to delivering outstanding member experiences.
  • Strategic thinking with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Financial acumen with experience in managing budgets and KPIs.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety processes/policies.
  • Flexibility to work various hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and Bank holidays.
