Position: Van Driver
Location: Base/ main office in Hitchin
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate company-owned vans for the delivery and transportation of goods.
- Deliver packages, parcels, and other items to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Ensure accuracy in recording delivery details and obtaining necessary signatures.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to maintain safe driving practices.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure roadworthiness.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a van driver or similar role preferred.
- Familiarity with local routes and geography.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and carry packages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work varied hours
