GASTROPUB SOUS CHEF - OCTOBER START DATE
Kite at The Red Hart is a neighbourhood gastropub serving high quality British cuisine across our daily menus and events. Were on the lookout for an enthusiastic sous chef to join our small kitchen team.
- Position: Sous Chef
- Start Date: OCTOBER 2024
- Hours: 45
- Days of work: Wednesday - Sunday
- Experience required: Sous chef (minimum 2 years)
- Salary: Up to £34k + tips
- Languages: English Intermediate
THE ROLE, SOUS CHEF
- Supporting the head chef in smooth daily operation, budgets, ordering and stock rotation
- Running the kitchen during head chef annual leave
- Being a food enthusiast, passionate about upcoming food trends
- Providing leadership, reliability and a genuine enthusiasm towards our industry
- Managing food GP in line with our zero waste goals
- Ensuring excellent customer service at all times
- Maintain and promote health and safety, and our workplace values
- Assist the team in the smooth running of shifts and provide support to management as required
